SITUATED: 450 m above sea level, on a volcano with breathtaking views over the Atlantic and surrounding mountains. The city of Las Palmas is approximately 15 km away, and the airport 45 minutes drive away.
HOTEL: A very well run middle class hotel with 27 rooms as double or single. All rooms have bath/wc, minibar, and some have a balcony. There is also a lounge, restaurant, TV room, and cocktail bar.
SPORT: Swimming pool (heated), riding, and tennis.
GOLF: 18 hole course, PAR 71, SSS 69. This is one of the oldest courses in Europe. A truly beautiful course, very hilly, stretching through the volcanic mountains. It has a driving range, putting green, and trolleys. The first tee is directly by the door. Without handicap limit.
Each hole of the course is different. For the powerful players, this course tests you out, and gives you the opportunity to play using all of your golf clubs!
It is a soft course, with narrow fairways. The rough areas are covered with flower beds, palm and pine trees.
The greens are protected by bunkers, and many holes lay on the border of the Bandama Craters or along deep streams. Golfers love the Bandama golf course because it offers players the chance of countless new angles and play positions.
Ideal practice zone: driving range for 25 players, floodlit pitch and put zone with bunkers and two putting greens, one of which is floodlit. There are six golf instructors for individual tuition, as well as video tuition. Caddies and trolleys available.
